A rich life

What makes a rich life?

Is it the wealth that we amass, the cars, and the houses? Is it the huge sum of money that is stored in our bank account, and the amount held in stocks?

I am very sure that this economic downturn has shown very well that this is not what makes a rich life. All of the things mentioned above can vanish away within the twinkle of an eye.

What is it then that really makes a rich life? What is it that comes up to your mind and lights up your face with a smile? What is that brings happy thoughts to your mind?

Is it not the life around that you have been able to reach out in help? Is it not the relationships that derives strength from positive contribution to each others growth.

The richness of your life cannot be measured by how much you have but how much you have given in your lifetime.

The richness of your life cannot be measured by how happy you are but by how many people you have made happy.

The richness of your life cannot be measured by how rich you are but by how many people you have made rich.

The richness of your life cannot be measured by how secured you are but by how many feel safe with you.

Jesus said, “I have not come to be served, but to serve…And of His fullness (the richness of His life) have we all received, and grace for grace.”

How rich is your life today?
